Ammonium bromide CAS 12124-97-9 is an inorganic compound with molecular formula NH4Br, colorless or white crystalline powder. Sublimate at 452 ℃ under normal pressure or 235 ℃ in vacuum. The air is slightly hygroscopic. It is used for making photographic film photosensitive emulsion, developer, wood preservative, water treatment and fire retardant additive.
